Our Wigan Warriors Partnership is going strong for another Two Years
Our new project with Age UK Wigan Borough helps local people stay safe and independent at home, and we couldn’t be happier to share it

Why seeing PROCare on a Warriors shirt still makes our whole team smile, 25 years after starting out in Wigan
We’re made up to say that PROCare is extending our Wigan Warriors partnership for another two years, backing both the Men’s and Women’s First Teams through the 2027 and 2028 seasons.
Our name is staying on the lower back of both teams’ playing shirts, and it’s now going on the sleeves of the Men’s and Women’s training kits too.
How a Wigan family business ended up on a Warriors shirt
We started out in Wigan in 2001 as a small family business, supplying wetrooms and bathrooms to local people.
Twenty five years later, we’re a national supplier and manufacturer working with housing providers, councils and contractors across the UK. We’ve also recently expanded into accessible and adapted kitchens, so we can help with more of the home. From our 75,000 sq ft headquarters in Pemberton, we support thousands of home adaptation projects, helping people who are older, disabled or need a bit of extra support to live safely and independently at home.
We’ve grown a lot. But Wigan has never stopped being home. Plenty of our team grew up supporting the Warriors. Many of us still go. So seeing our name on that shirt isn’t something we ever take for granted.
What our Wigan Warriors partnership means to us
Here’s how Claire Smalley, our Executive Operations Manager, puts it:
“We’re made up to be continuing our partnership with the Warriors for another two years, especially in our 25th year.
“We started as a small family business in Wigan, and now we supply housing providers right across the UK, but Wigan will always be home. So many of our team grew up supporting the Warriors, and seeing our name on the shirts makes us all really proud.
“What we do is help people stay safe and independent in their own homes, and looking after people has always been at the heart of PROCare. Whether it’s through our work or backing local charities and sport, we want to keep giving something back to the town that’s given us so much.
“It’s lovely to see the partnership growing, and we can’t wait to get behind both teams again in 2027 and 2028.”
And it’s a feeling that’s shared. Rebecca Webb, Head of Partnerships at Wigan Warriors, told us:
“It’s fantastic to be extending our partnership with PROCare. We’re really grateful for their continued support and the relationship we’ve built over the last couple of years.
“It’s grown significantly during that time and PROCare have been a pleasure to work with throughout. We’re delighted to be continuing the partnership for another two years, particularly as they celebrate their 25th anniversary.”
Thank you, Rebecca and everyone at the Club. It’s been a pleasure.
More than rugby: backing Wigan in all sorts of ways
The Warriors are just one part of how we try to give something back. We support lots of local initiatives, from backing Wigan based wheelchair athlete Louis Telford and working with homelessness charity The Brick, to supporting local football clubs, grassroots sport and community projects right across the borough.
It’s not a box we tick. It just feels right. If the business is doing well, the town around it should feel the benefit.
A proud 25th anniversary year
This partnership comes in a really special year for us. We’ve picked up Supplier of the Year and Innovative Solution of the Year at the Efficiency East Midlands Building Communities Awards, Supply Chain Partner of the Year at the Northern Housing Awards, and the Social Impact Award at the North West Family Business Awards.
We’re proud of every one. But what means the most is knowing it’s come from looking after people, doing the job properly and never forgetting where we started.
